AP Racing Formula Brake Upgrade Kits have been designed for everyday road use and weekend track use. AP Racings Formula four and six piston brake kits have been designed for everyday road use and weekend track use. They will reduce breaking effort and give more responsive late braking confidence when used on the track. Sports Brake Kit

This is the basic line of the High Performance Brake Systems program. It is a braking system consisting of an integral disc, available drilled or slotted, and a complete set of high performance brake pads. The Sport Line products can also be sold as separate components.  Guarantee excellent braking power in conditions ranging from normal traffic to the toughest High Performance driving.

Gran Turismo Brake Kit

This line is available for the most demanding customers. This braking system originates from the Racing components, consisting of a ventilated, integral or composite disc, available drilled or slotted, 4 and 8 piston aluminium calipers, a complete set of high performance brake pads, metal braid tubes and high quality small parts. Please remember that in the European Community, Gran Turismo products may only be used in racing and on private roads, unless you have obtained a new approval in compliance with directive 98/12/EC.

Junior Conversion Kit

Pair of 4 or 6 pot calipers, discs pads, braided hoses and caliper mounting bracket at a good price. Compared to the standard brake conversion kits the Junior kits use a smaller caliper, usually the 4pot / 6pot B280, the B27 6 Pot or the B25 6 pot. In some cases the discs used are single piece discs rather than the usual 2 piece discs thus keeping the price down. In all cases the Junior kit has the same quality and finish as the more expensive TAROX application. Junior kits are available for almost all hot hatches, Peugeot 205, 206 and 106, Clios, Saxo, Golf & Polos and new Mini. The conversion kits are available with the spiral grooved F2000 discs as standard or with Sport Japan Plus or D95 discs as an option.

6 Pot Caliper Brake System

Amazing braking performance and total confidence. By matching six piston calipers to the discs, problems such as disc failure, deformation and vibration are eliminated . TAR-OX offer a variety of calipers to suit various applications and customer requirements. The diameter of the pistons in the calipers are specific to each application to take into account the car's master cylinder. Each kit contains 2 six pistons brake calipers, 2 brake discs including alloy bells, 2 adaptor clamps, 1 set of brake pads and 1 set of brake lines The conversion kits are available with the spiral grooved F2000 discs as standard or with Sport Japan Plus or D95 discs as an option.

By matching 10 piston calipers to the discs, you achieve: 1. More evenly distributed pressure on the pads, 2. Better cooling action of the pads, because of more airflow behind the pad's metal support 3. Less stress factor on the caliper itself 4. More clamping action resulting in more braking power due to the presence of more pistons 5. Firmer pedal Strongly recommended for cars that suffer from a spongy pedal, TAR-OX offer a variety of calipers to suit various applications and customer requirement.
