Fortified main pressure valve spring and silicon packing are used to raise the pressure inside the radiator for a higher boiling point.
The coolant will not boil easily, preventing air bubbles in the block and radiator core with improved heat transfer.
CUSCO's high pressure radiator cap works at 1.3kg/cm² at zero atmospheric pressure. In practise though, the atmospheric pressure of the road surface (approximately 1.0kg/cm²) is added and the pressure is 2.3kg/cm².

USE It can be set to spray continuously for a span from one to five seconds in one second intervals. Also the spray interval can be set at 3, 4, 5, 7 or 9 seconds. Other settings include continuous spray for a period of 15 seconds to 3 minutes maximum and ability to turn on at a pre-set rpm level. Of course the settings stop automatically when the tank is empty.

The Spoon radiator core rises from 10mm to 25mm thickness. Whilst using the shape of the normal radiator and maintaining the quality of the standard part, cooling efficiency improves 40%. As for the Radiator Cap, F type suits, and the standard stay can be used. We recommend you combine the use of a Spoon Thermostat switch and a Spoon Thermostat.
When a tuned engine is used hard, the engine rotation causes the water pump revs to go up and down violently, causing a normal radiator hose to collapse under the suction variations of the water pump. Since there is a large amount of water moved (especially when a large-sized radiator is fitted) the tendancy of the hoses to collapse worsens.
Moreover, the phenomenon "to shut" is a problem in high air pressure such as when the car is running at high speed at low altitude. Once "shut" the hose will not return quickly to shape and volume, and the engine will then overheat immediately. The Spoon hose are deformation-resistant hoses to also look good! Made with SEP material (Silicon ethylene propylene rubber), whilst many other performance hoses use EP material (Ethylene propylene). The advantages of Spoon SEP hoses are that they have better heat resistance, proof against the cold, are long term season-proof, and have high temperature vacuum stability. For example: heat resistance EP material -- 120°C SEP material -- 160°C.
The radiator cap functions to increase the pressure inside the radiator; the laws of physics then apply, accordingly, even when the temperature of the coolant water exceeds 100°C, boiling can be avoided so gas bubbles and subsequent hot spots are avoided and increased cooling performance may be achieved.
