Provides improved exhaust flow with an emphasis on mid-range power and response. All of the Spoon headers feature the 'far insert' production method to eliminate port level differences and are assembled with TIG welding, as are most race car systems. Spoon headers are also extremely light, providing an added weight reduction benefit. The 2-1 downpipe is recommended for use with the 4-2 header.
The standard Honda downpipe provides a wide torque band that is ideal for street driven cars. Thus, it is recommended that a primarily street driven car use the Spoon 4-2 header with the standard downpipe for better low and mid-range power. However, for track use, to increase high rpm power, the Spoon 2-1 downpipe should be used.
